Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router Note: The preset SSID and password are uniquely generated for every device to protect and maximize your wireless security. NETGEAR recommends that you do not change your preset security settings. If you change your preset security settings, make a note of the new settings and store it in a safe place where you can easily find it. If you use a wireless computer to change the wireless network name (SSID) or other wireless security settings, you are disconnected when you click the Apply button. To avoid this problem, use a computer with a wired connection to access the modem router. To specify basic wireless settings: 1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the modem router network. 2. Enter http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.0.1. A login window opens. 3. Enter the modem router user name and password. The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive. The BASIC Home page displays. 4.
