NETGEAR 8800 User Manual cp test.cfg test_rev2.cfg On a modular switch, the following command makes a copy of a configuration file named primary.cfg from the switch to the external memory card with the same name, primary.cfg: cp primary.cfg memorycard Displaying Files on the Switch To display a list of the configuration, policy, or if configured, core dump files stored on your switch, use the following command: ls {[internal-memory | memorycard]} {} Where the following is true: • internal-memory-Lists the core dump files that are present and saved in the internal memory card. If the switch is not configured to save debug files or has not saved any debug files, no files are displayed. • memorycard-Lists all files that are stored in the external compact flash memory card. (This parameter is available only on modular switches.) • file-name-Lists all the files that match the wildcard. When you do not specify a parameter, this command lists all of the files stored on your switch. Output from this command includes the file size, date and time the file was last modified, and the file name.
