This feature uses Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) and Ping checking to make the determination. To configure health checking for a specific flow-redirect-name, use the following command: configure flow-redirect health-check [ping | arp] To configure the ping interval and miss for a nexthop, use the following command: configure flow-redirect nexthop ping interval miss Packet Forward/Drop The default behavior for policy-based routing when all nexthops are unreachable is to route packets based on the routing table. Policy-based routing redundancy adds an option to drop the packets when all nexthops for the policy-based routing become unreachable.
