Key Telephone Features Call Transfer (For example, if you transfer an outside call on line 1 to extension 135 and that extension does not answer, the call will return to your extension and "Recall 135 #01" will appear on the display.) Screened Transfer Description Using the Screened Transfer feature, you can contact a third party and announce the call before the transfer. Operation To use Screened Transfer when your system is set for Onhook Transfer: 1. Press the HOLD key to place the call on hold. • The line LED for the outside line on hold flashes green. • The phone issues intercom dial tone. • "Hold TRK #XX" (where "XX" is the line number) appears on the display. 2. Dial the extension number to which the call is to be transferred. 3. When your call is answered, inform the third party of the transfer. • The EXT LED stops flashing and remains lit. • "Talk-EXT XXX" (where "XXX" is the extension) appears on the display. 4. Hang up the handset. • The line LED for the original outside line turns red. • The third party need only pick up the handset to speak to the outside line.
