Absence Message DSLT Features Operation 6 User Defined 7 User Defined 8 User Defined 9 User Defined To Set an Absence Message 1. Lift the handset or press ON/OFF. 2. Dial "71." 3. Enter a message code between 0 and 9 (See Table 4-1). 4. Enter the time you will return (optional). See Table 4-2 for examples. 5. Replace the handset or press ON/OFF. To Cancel an Absence Message 1. Lift the handset or press ON/OFF. 2. Dial "71." 3. Replace the handset or press ON/OFF.
