Changing Annotation Settings You can customize various settings for the Annotation Tools used to modify documents in the Multifunction Desktop. There are three different ways for you to access these settings. The settings for each individual Annotation Tool can be accessed by selecting an annotation in a document while in Page View mode and then rightclicking on the annotation, or selecting Annotation Properties in the Tools menu. Selecting Annotation Properties without first selecting an annotation in a document will bring up a dialog box with a tab for each Annotation Tool. Add Text Add Text is used to insert text into a document. • Font (True Type font only) Select the font by scrolling down the font menu. Note that you must use a True Type font. • Font Style Select the font style. You can choose from Regular, Bold, or Italic if they are available. • Size Select the point size by scrolling down the point size menu. • Effects Two text effects can be selected: Strikeout and Underline. To use either, check the appropriate check box. • Sample The Sample box displays a sample of text using the font, font style, point size, color, and effects that you have selected. 3-12 EDITING AND HANDLING OF IMAGE FILES manuals4you.com
