• Wild Card Check this check box to use the Wild Card function, which allows you to search for documents that contain a certain combination of characters. Wild Card works by using the character "*" to represent any number of unknown characters and "?" to represent a single unknown character. For example, imagine that you have two documents named SHARP and SHIP. If you enter SH*P in the Name field, both documents will be found. If you enter SH?P, only SHIP will be found. Note: Do not check the Wild Card check box when searching for documents with the characters "*" and "?" in the document name. • Logic Select And if you want to search only for documents that match all your search information. Select Or to search for documents that match any part of your search information. • Result Select List to have the results of your search displayed in List View mode, and Thumbnail to have them displayed in Thumbnail View. Find Results The results of your search are displayed in the Document(s) Found window. Note: If no items are found that match your search parameters, a message box will appear to this effect. • Close Click on Close to close the Document(s) Found window and return to the Find a Document dialog box. • Go To To jump to a document you have found, select it by clicking on it once, and then click on Go To.
