USING THE MULTIFUNCTION CONTROL PANEL The Laser Multifunction Control Panel allows you use your computer to program auto dial numbers (Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers) in the Laser Multifunction unit. Auto dial numbers can be programmed for fax or E-mail. Once a Rapid Key or Speed Dial number is programmed, you can send a document to a fax or E-mail destination by simply loading the document in the document feeder and pressing the Rapid Key or dialing the Speed Dial number on the unit. (Note: For information on dialing with Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers, see Chapter 2 of the Operation Manual.) Opening the Control Panel The Control Panel can be opened from the Multifunction Desktop, the Sharp Laser Multifunction Status window, or the Windows Start button. From inside the Multifunction Desktop • From the Tools menu, select MFP Control Panel... . From Windows® • From the Start button on the taskbar, select Programs, then go to Sharp Laser Multifunction and select Sharp Laser Multifunction Control Panel. From the Sharp Laser Multifunction Status window • Select Sharp Control Panel from the Utilities menu. 5. USING THE MULTIFUNCTION CONTROL PANEL
The Laser Multifunction Control Panel allows you use your computer to program auto
dial numbers (Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers) in the Laser Multifunction unit.
Auto dial numbers can be programmed for fax or E-mail. Once a Rapid Key or Speed
Dial number is programmed, you can send a document to a fax or E-mail destination
by simply loading the document in the document feeder and pressing the Rapid Key
or dialing the Speed Dial number on the unit.
(Note: For information on dialing with Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers, see
Chapter 2 of the Operation Manual.)
The Control Panel can be opened from the Multifunction Desktop, the Sharp Laser
Multifunction Status window, or the Windows Start button.
From inside the Multifunction Desktop
