Document Summary Tool The Document Summary tool serves a dual purpose: it provides you with a way to record summarized information about documents and document stacks, and it enables the use of the Laser Multifunction Desktop's Find function. To use this tool, select the document you would like to make a document summary for with a single mouse click in List View or Thumbnail View and then select Summary Information... in the File menu. You can also right-click the mouse over the appropriate document and select Summary Information... from the pop-up menu. After selecting Summary Information..., the following dialog box will appear: The Document Name, Directory, Created, and Number of Pages portions are automatically entered. Input the author of the document, as well as any keywords or comments you would like to remember the document by. By pressing the OK button, the summary information is saved. After saving, it can be brought up again at any time by selecting Summary Information... in the File menu. The Cancel button cancels the operation, and pressing the Help button brings up the Online help function. Note: Only one summary can be saved for a document stack. If you know that you are going to stack a group of documents, only make the document summary after stacking. Document Summary Tool
The Document Summary tool serves a dual purpose: it provides you with a way to
record summarized information about documents and document stacks, and it enables
the use of the Laser Multifunction Desktop’s Find function. To use this tool, select the
document you would like to make a document summary for with a single mouse click
in List View or Thumbnail View and then select
Summary Information...
in the File
menu. You can also right-click the mouse over the appropriate document and select
Summary Information...
from the pop-up menu.
After selecting
Summary Information...
, the following dialog box will appear:
The Document Name, Directory, Created, and Number of Pages portions are

button,
the summary information is saved. After saving, it can be brought up again at any time
