Fowarding received faxes to an E-mail destination If desired you can have all incoming faxes automatically forwarded to a specified Email address. To use this feature, you must first program the E-mail address (only one) into a Rapid Key or Speed Dial number. (See Programming Rapid Key and Speed Dial Numbers on page 5-1.) To turn on this feature, select Fax Settings from the Fax menu and then select the Fax Modem Setup tab. In the Incoming Faxes field, select "Forward Incoming Faxes". In the "Use:" drop-down list, select the Rapid Key or Speed Dial number in which you programmed the E-mail address. When finished, click the OK button. Note that the Forward Incoming Faxes feature overrides the RECEIVE UNIT and reception mode settings on the Laser Multifunction unit, and thus it isn't necessary to change these settings when you turn on the Forward Incoming Faxes feature. When the feature is turned on, E-MAIL TRANSFER will appear in the unit's display. PC FAXING 6-11
