Programming Group Keys You can program a group of Rapid Key and/or Speed Dial numbers into a Group Key (one of Rapid Keys 17/G1 through 20/G4 on the Laser Multifunction unit). This will allow you to automatically send a document to all the fax numbers in the group by simply pressing the Group Key. Only Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers for fax/telephone numbers can be programmed in a Group Key. An E-mail destination cannot be included. To program a group, select the Group tab. First click on the Group Key that you want to program in the Groups field. Next, select each auto dial number that you want to add to the group from the Auto Dial Keys list (scroll if necessary). After selecting an auto dial number, click the Add button to add it to the group. Note: When you select an auto dial number, information about the number will appear in the Key Properties field. If you need to remove a number from a group, select the number under the Group Key in the Groups field and then click the Remove button. To clear all numbers from a group, select the Group Key or any number in the group and then click the Reset button. When finished, you can save the settings by clicking either the OK button or the Apply button. If you click the OK button, the Control Panel will close. You can program a group of Rapid Key and/or Speed Dial numbers into a Group Key
(one of Rapid Keys 17/G1 through 20/G4 on the Laser Multifunction unit). This will
allow you to automatically send a document to all the fax numbers in the group by
simply pressing the Group Key.
Only Rapid Key and Speed Dial numbers for fax/telephone numbers can be
programmed in a Group Key. An E-mail destination cannot be included.
To program a group, select the Group tab.
First click on the Group Key that you want to program in the Groups field. Next,
select each auto dial number that you want to add to the group from the Auto Dial
Keys list (scroll if necessary). After selecting an auto dial number, click the Add
button to add it to the group.
Note: When you select an auto dial number, information about the number will appear
in the Key Properties field.
If you need to remove a number from a group, select the number under the Group
Key in the Groups field and then click the Remove button. To clear all numbers from a
group, select the Group Key or any number in the group and then click the Reset
button.
When finished, you can save the settings by clicking either the OK button or the
Apply button. If you click the OK button, the Control Panel will close. If you click the
Apply button, the Control Panel will remain open.
