Next, you must select the fax modem to be used. Fax sending and receiving are not possible until a modem is selected. Select the Fax Modem Setup tab. Select the modem you want to use from the "Modems:" drop-down list (normally this will be Sharp Laser Multifunction Fax Modem) and then click the "Install / Configure Modems..." button. Click OK in the Modems Properties window that appears, and then click OK in the Fax Modem Setup tab. This completes the basic setup needed for you to begin PC faxing. The other settings in the Fax Setup dialog box allow you to customize the PC fax feature to better suit your needs. For an explanation of each of the settings, click on the Help button at the bottom of the dialog box. PC FAXING 6-3

Next, you must select the fax modem to be used. Fax sending and receiving are not

possible until a modem is selected. Select the Fax Modem Setup tab.
