Linking to Other Applications The Sharp Laser Multifunction Desktop can be linked to various other software applications, including e-mail software, giving you a shortcut method for sending Laser Multifunction Desktop documents to these programs. When a link has been established, simply select it in the Multifunction Desktop and then click on the application icon that appears in the Application Link Area. The application will automatically start with the document opened. To link to another application, follow the procedure below. 1 From the Tools menu, select Properties..., or right-click the mouse in the Application Link Area and click on Properties.... Select the Application Linking tab. 2 If the application you want to link to is listed in the Available Links list, click the application to select it and then click the Enable button. Click the OK button to return to the Laser Multifunction Desktop. The application's icon will appear in the Application Link Area. 3 To link to an application that doesn't appear in the Available Links list, click the New button. The Application Linking Wizard appears. Provide the information requested by the Application Linking Wizard. 4 When finished, click on the OK button to return to the Laser Multifunction Desktop. The Sharp Laser Multifunction Desktop can be linked to various other software
applications, including e-mail software, giving you a shortcut method for sending
Laser Multifunction Desktop documents to these programs. When a link has been
established, simply select it in the Multifunction Desktop and then click on the
application icon that appears in the Application Link Area. The application will
automatically start with the document opened.
