Setting Up the E-mail Key You can also send a document as an E-mail attachment by loading the document in the feeder of the Sharp Laser Multifunction unit and then pressing the E-mail key on the unit's operation panel. The document will be scanned and your specified E-mail program will automatically start on your computer. The document will appear as an attachment in a new E-mail message, and you can then select the recipient and add a subject and message if desired. To use the E-mail key, you must first select the E-mail program you want to use in the E-mail key tab of the Control Panel. The E-mail programs that you have available on your computer appear in the dropdown list in the E-mail Setting field. Click the arrow to open the list and then select the desired program. Change any of the Scan Settings as needed for the document you are going to scan. When finished, you can save the settings by clicking either the OK button or the Apply button. If you click the OK button, the Control Panel will close. If you click the Apply button, the Control Panel will remain open. 5-6 USING THE LASER MULTIFUNCTION CONTROL PANEL

To use the E-mail key, you must first select the E-mail program you want to use in
the E-mail key tab of the Control Panel.

down list in the E-mail Setting field. Click the arrow to open the list and then select
the desired program.
