Missing Band, Voids or Streaks in a Single Color or All Colors in Direction of Paper Travel There are areas of the image that are extremely light or missing entirely. These missing areas form bands that run along the paper from the leading edge to the trailing edge, in the direction of paper travel. Troubleshooting Procedure Step Check Yes 1 Print the 600 x 600 test print and evaluate the print. Are there defects in the print? Go to Step [2]. 2 Check for an obstruction in the laser Remove the beam path between the Laser Unit obstruction or and the Imaging Unit. debris. Lay Imaging Unit on it's back with the IDT Rollers facing up and rotate the developer gears to remove any loose toner. 3 Replace the Imaging Unit, PL 9.1.3.
