Automatic Air Conditioning Controls You may hear the operating sound of the motor about 70 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off. This is not also a malfunction. (d) Air filter The air filter may clog after long use and reduce air flow. You can inspect the filter easily. When you inspect and replace the air filter, be sure to turn off the fan. (c) Outside temperature display EMV7012U 7019U EMV7011U 2. Take out the air filter. For LS400 only: Inspect the lower surface of the filter. If it is just moderately dusty, it may be cleaned by blowing compressed air from the lower surface. Do not wash or oil the filter. For all models: If it is dirty, it should be replaced. To maintain the air conditioning efficiency, replace the air filter according to the maintenance schedule. Type A: This display shows the outside temperature when the ignition switch is on. Type B: Outside temperature is displayed on the screen when you touch the "ON/OFF" switch. The displayed temperature ranges from -30_C (-22_F) up to 50_C (122_F). If the temperature does not appear on the display or it shows "- - -", take your vehicle to your Lexus dealer. 1.
