Remove the protective covers from the connector on the new power supply. See the installation documentation that came with the power supply for more information. Keep the protective covers for future handling. 5. Lower the handle on the new hot-plug power supply. 6. Slide the hot-plug power supply into the power supply cage, pushing the spring-loaded trap door open, until the supply is seated securely . 7. Raise the handle to lock the power supply into place . The power supply fan will start immediately if the system is running.

Remove the protective covers from the connector on the new power
supply. See the installation documentation that came with the power
supply for more information. Keep the protective covers for future
handling.
5.
Lower the handle on the new hot-plug power supply.
6.
Slide the hot-plug power supply into the power supply cage, pushing the
spring-loaded trap door open, until the supply is seated securely

7.
Raise the handle to lock the power supply into place
