Inserting a DIMM without counter pressure applied behind the socket to the back of the expansion board can cause the memory expansion board to flex and could result in damage. Align the key slot on the bottom edge of each DIMM with the tab in the DIMM socket.

completely flat. Inserting a DIMM without counter pressure applied behind the
socket to the back of the expansion board can cause the memory expansion
board to flex and could result in damage. Always support the memory expansion
board or apply counter pressure while inserting a DIMM.
