Airport/Heliport Terrain "Cutouts" For software version 4.00 and later: when configured for helicopters (the helicopter icon will be displayed), black, circular or oblong "cutouts" will be displayed on the Terrain Page around airports and heliports, to enhance viewing of the information displayed for those locations. The Terrain legend (shown in the lower right of the display on the Terrain Page) defines the color black as -500 ft. However, this does not apply to the black cutouts surrounding the airports and heliports.
