Setting security credentials for enabled hosts To add or update a security credential for accessing one or more enabled hosts. See security credentials for enabled hosts. Considerations • You can only use the GUI to update security credentials. • When setting security credentials for multiple enabled hosts in a single action, the selected enabled hosts must have the same security credentials. • Valid credentials IMPORTANT: If a valid security credential is not entered or if the credential expires or is changed, the replication manager (GUI, jobs, and CLUI) will not be able to interact with the enabled host. Procedure 1. In the navigation pane, select Enabled Hosts. 2. On the List tab, select the enabled host or hosts whose security credential you want to save in the replication manager database. 3. Select Set Credentials. Follow the instructions in the window. Viewing enabled hosts Display enabled host list and tree views. See enabled hosts views. Considerations • You can use the GUI or the CLUI to display lists. See enabled hosts actions cross reference. • Tree views are available only in the GUI. Procedures This procedure uses the GUI. 1. In the navigation pane, select Enabled Hosts. The content pane displays enabled hosts. 2. Click theList tab. A tabular list of enabled hosts appears. 3. Click theTree tab. A graphical tree appears that shows the enabled hosts, their host volumes, and the OS components and virtual disks associated with the host volumes. Viewing enabled host properties View the properties of a specific enabled host. See enabled hosts properties summary. Considerations • You can use the GUI or the CLUI.
