Considerations • You can use the GUI or jobs to delete a repository. See Oracle actions cross reference. • Deleting a repository does not delete the resources that are members of the repository. Procedure This procedure uses the GUI. 1. In the navigation pane select Oracle. 2. On the Repositories tab, select the Oracle repository to delete. 3. Select Actions > Delete. A confirmation window appears. 4. Click OK to confirm the action. The repository is deleted. Setting security credentials for Oracle databases Add or update a security credential for accessing an Oracle database See security credentials for Oracle databases. Considerations • You can only use the GUI to add or update security credentials. • Valid credentials IMPORTANT: If a valid security credential is not entered or if the credential expires or is changed, the replication manager (GUI and jobs) will not be able to interact with the Oracle database. Procedure 1. In the navigation pane, select Oracle. 2. On the Databases tab, select the database whose security credential you want to save in the replication manager database. 3. Select Set Credentials. Follow the instructions in the window. Viewing Oracle resources Display Oracle list and tree views. See Oracle views. Considerations • You can only use the GUI to view Oracle resources. Procedures 1. In the navigation pane, select Oracle. The content pane displays Oracle resources: databases, tablespaces, archive logs, data files, control files and repositories. 2. Click a resource list tab. A tabular list of the resources is displayed. 3. Click the Tree tab. A graphical tree of enabled hosts and Oracle resources on the host is displayed. Click View to select another tree view. Viewing Oracle resource properties View the properties of a specific Oracle resource. See Oracle properties summary.
