License display Remarks License summary. A license status summary appears on the right side of the status bar at the bottom of the replication manager window. • The status includes replication licenses and Oracle-integration licenses. • Status messages indicate if all discovered licenses are valid or if there is an issue. License events.. Events that involve license status appear on the License Events tab of the events content pane. • License events include replication licenses and Oracle-integration licenses. • See events overview and viewing events. Licenses for an array. The status of licenses for an individual array appears on the array's Storage Properties window. Licenses for Oracle resources. The license status an individual tablespace appears on the Oracle Tablespaces properties window. License details appear in the Configuration window. • Properties include the status of replication licenses and Oracle-integration licenses. • See Storage Properties window - Licensing tab and viewing storage properties. • See viewing Oracle resource properties. • See licenses configuration - applications. License states General • Expiring. All discovered licenses are currently valid. However, one or more expires within 60 days. • Over capacity. One or more resources has exceeded a license's capacity. Oracle-integration • Not licensed. None of the arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed. • Partially licensed. One or more arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed, but not all. • Fully licensed. All arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed. Mount points for Oracle restores The mount points (drive letter and directory names) for restored Oracle resources are created as follows: • Using a GUI action or job command, you specify an existing drive letter and directory (full path) on an enabled host, for example C:\pets\cats. • When the replication manager begins the restore, it creates new directories under the existing directory. The new directory names reflect the original mount points. For example, if the original Oracle resources were on drives H: and K:, the new mount points are C:\pets\cats\H and C:\pets\cats\K. Oracle online redo logs The replication manager does not discover or display Oracle online redo logs. • Do not back up. Online redo logs are not discovered or displayed because they typically should not be backed up. While actually backing them up is not a problem, restoring them overwrites the current online redo logs and makes it impossible to completely recover a database. License display
Remarks
License summary
. A license status summary appears
on the right side of the status bar at the bottom of the
replication manager window.
The status includes replication licenses and
Oracle-integration licenses.
Status messages indicate if all discovered licenses
are valid or if there is an issue.
License events.
. Events that involve license status
appear on the License Events tab of the events content
pane.
License events include replication licenses and
Oracle-integration licenses.
See
events overview
and
viewing events
.
Licenses for an array
. The status of licenses for an
individual array appears on the array’s Storage
Properties window.
Properties include the status of replication licenses
and Oracle-integration licenses.
See Storage Properties window - Licensing tab
and
viewing storage properties
.
Licenses for Oracle resources
. The license status
an individual tablespace appears on the Oracle
Tablespaces properties window.
License details appear in the Con
guration window.
See
viewing Oracle resource properties

guration - applications
.
License states
General
Expiring
. All discovered licenses are currently valid. However, one or more expires within 60 days.
Over capacity
. One or more resources has exceeded a license’s capacity.
Oracle-integration
Not licensed
. None of the arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed.
Partially licensed
. One or more arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed, but not all.
Fully licensed
. All arrays on which the resource is stored are licensed.
Mount points for Oracle restores
The mount points (drive letter and directory names) for restored Oracle resources are created as follows:
Using a GUI action or job command, you specify an
existing
drive letter and directory (full path)
on an enabled host, for example
C:\pets\cats
.
When the replication manager begins the restore, it creates
new
directories under the existing
directory. The new directory names re
ect the original mount points. For example, if the original
Oracle resources were on drives H: and K:, the new mount points are
C:\pets\cats\H
and
C:\pets\cats\K
.
Oracle online redo logs
The replication manager does
not
discover or display Oracle online redo logs.
Do not back up
. Online redo logs are not discovered or displayed because they typically should
not be backed up. While actually backing them up is not a problem, restoring them overwrites
the current online redo logs and makes it impossible to completely recover a database.
