See preallocated snapclones. Considerations • You can use the GUI or jobs to create preallocated snapclones of an Oracle database. See Oracle actions cross reference. • You can choose to replicate the associated archived redo logs, or not. • A managed set of containers must have been previously created for use with the virtual disks that contain the database. See managed sets of virtual disks (or containers). • Guidelines apply. See Oracle resource guidelines and snapclone guidelines. Procedure This procedure uses the GUI. 1. In the navigation pane select Oracle. 2. On the Databases tab, select the Oracle database to replicate. 3. Select Actions > Replicate Database (Preallocated Snapclone). The Replicate an Oracle Database via Preallocated Snapclones window opens. Follow the instructions in the window.
