Preparing to import Determine the management servers in your environment on which HP Business Copy EVA 2.X is installed. For each of these servers, perform the following procedure. Procedure 1. Log on to the management server. 2. Navigate to the directory: C:\Program Files\Compaq\SANworks\Enterprise Volume Manager\bin\Jobs 3. Select files with the extension .evm. These are the job files. Do not select the files named sample job.evm and Scheduler.evm. 4. Copy the files to a location that is readily available to you when using the replication manager. You will need to open each job file in a job editor while using the Create Job window. Legacy BC 2.x job command equivalence The following table lists HP Business Copy EVA/MA/EMA 2.x job operations and the equivalent job commands in the replication manager. Details regarding individual command parameters are not included. Launch LAUNCHUNDO Launch Executes the specified command, batch file or script on a BC enabled host when undoing a job. Launchundo is used to perform an action on a BC enabled host when that action is required only when undoing a job. Launch Create a rollback (undo) branch in the job and include a launch command that specifies the command, batch file or script. MOUNT UNIT Presents a virtual disk replica (or pre-existing virtual disk) to a host OS and requests mounting using the specified parameters. There is no equivalent single command.
