SnapshotHostVolumeGroupToContainersInManagedSet
Creates preallocated snapshots (point-in-time copies) of the storage volumes (virtual disks) that underlie a
host volume group, by using containers in a managed set. The snapshot copies are presented to the
enabled host and a host bus scan is performed to identify the presented storage
Syntax and arguments
When initially inserted into a job, the command syntax and default arguments are:
SnapshotHostVolumeGroupToContainersInManagedSet ( %volgroup_unc_name%, %managed_set_of_con-
tainers%, FULLY_ALLOCATED, NOWAIT )
UNC Host Volume Group Name
(%volgroup_unc_name%). Select or enter the UNC name of the host
volume group to be copied.
Managed Set Name
(%managed_set_of_containers%). Select or enter the name of the managed set in
which the virtual disk containers are members.
Snapshot Type
. List of snapshot storage volume names. The only type is fully_allocated.
Wait Flag
