5. Lift the cartridge out of its drawer. NOTE: Avoid touching the end of the cartridge that is inserted into the printer, because the connection might be coated with ink. NOTE: If necessary, store a partially-used ink cartridge in the same position as if it were inserted in the printer. Avoid using a partially-used cartridge that has been stored on its end. 6.
