Service approach Repair of the printer normally begins by using the printer's internal diagnostics in conjunction with the troubleshooting procedures that are described in chapter 6. When a faulty part is located, repair is generally accomplished by assembly-level replacement of field-replaceable units (FRUs) (listed in chapter 7).
