5-12 Compaq ProLiant Clusters HA/F100 and HA/F200 Administrator Guide Compaq Redundancy Manager Compaq Redundancy Manager (Fibre Channel) increases the availability of single-server or clustered systems using Compaq StorageWorks RAID Array 4000. Redundancy Manager can detect failures of the Compaq StorageWorks Fibre Channel Host Adapter (host bus adapter), Compaq StorageWorks RA4000 Controller (array controller), and Fibre Channel data paths. It then reroutes the I/O processing. Redundancy Manager is a monitoring tool; it is not a real-time management tool. This section provides information on how to use and configure Redundancy Manager by providing the means to change and set active and standby paths.
