Run the Compaq Cluster Verification Utility (CCVU) on both nodes to ensure that your system is ready for cluster installation. Use the Compaq Cluster Verification Utility CD in your cluster kit to install the Compaq Cluster Verification Utility, then follow the steps listed below. To automatically install CCVU, insert the Compaq Cluster Verification Utility CD in the CD-ROM drive. Installation should automatically run. If manual installation is necessary: a. Select Start, Run. b. Click Browse and select the CD-ROM drive. c. Double-click SETUP.EXE. Follow these steps to run the Compaq Cluster Verification Utility: a. On the Microsoft Windows NT desktop, select Start, Programs, Compaq Utilities, Compaq Cluster Verification Utility. b. Select a Test by highlighting the cluster model you are verifying. c. Click Next. d. Select one or two computers on which to perform the verification tests. e. Click Add to add a computer to the selected list. f. Click Finish. You must have at least one computer on the selected list before clicking Finish. NOTE: You must have administrative accounts with identical username and password on the computers selected. g.
