B-10 Compaq ProLiant Clusters HA/F100 and HA/F200 Administrator Guide Overview Redundancy Manager displays messages to inform you of possible changes and events in the system. When a message is displayed, click on Help to receive more details about that particular message. Redundancy Manager has three types of messages: informational, warning, and error. A green icon indicates an informational message; an amber icon indicates a warning message; and a red icon indicates an error message. The Event Viewer for Microsoft Windows NT Server displays additional information. For further information on using the Windows NT Event Viewer, refer to your Microsoft Windows NT Server documentation. Informational Messages This section provides a list of the informational messages that Redundancy Manager may display and the action you can take. An informational message informs you of possible changes and events in the system. Message Another instance has locked the loop. This instance is running in Read Only mode. The lock could not be set. Table B-1 Informational Messages Description This message indicates that another application has issued a lock management command to an array controller. The lock management command only allows you to view the data. This message informs you that the array controller board is in an unknown state that caused a failed connection to the array controller.
