8.3.5 Customizing MetroWEB Settings You can customize MetroWEB settings to suit your web browsing style and configure page content, privacy, and security settings. 6 To customize MetroWEB settings, on a browser screen touch > More > Settings. 8.4 Bluetooth Your phone supports Bluetooth, which allows you to share files wirelessly with your friends, talk hands-free using a Bluetooth headset, or transfer pictures from your phone to your computer. If you are using Bluetooth, stay within 10 meters (33 feet) of other Bluetooth devices. Note that obstacles such as walls or other electronic equipment may interfere with your Bluetooth connection. 8.4.1 Turning Bluetooth On 5 1. On the Home screen, touch > Settings > Wireless & networks. 2. Select the Bluetooth check box. If Bluetooth is turned on, the Bluetooth icon is displayed in the notification bar. 3. Touch Bluetooth settings, and then select the Discoverable check box to make your phone visible to other Bluetooth devices. 8.4.2 Pairing with a Bluetooth Device Bluetooth on your phone supports the following profiles: • Hands-Free Profile (HFP): use a hands-free Bluetooth device. • Headset Profile (HSP): use a mono Bluetooth headset. • Object Push Profile (OPP): transfer files using Bluetooth. • Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP): use a stereo Bluetooth headset. • Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP): remotely control what plays using the Bluetooth headset. Before using Bluetooth, pair your phone with a Bluetooth device as follows: 1. Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on. 35
