Select the Back up my data check box. 13.8.2 Restoring the Factory Settings Restoring your phone to its factory settings erases all your personal data from the phone memory, including information about your Google and other accounts, your system and application settings, and downloaded applications. Resetting the phone does not erase any system software updates you have downloaded or any files on your microSD card, such as music and pictures. To restore your phone to its factory settings: 1. On the Settings screen, touch Privacy > Factory data reset. 2. When prompted, touch Reset phone > Erase everything.  The phone restores to its factory settings, and then restarts. 14 Appendix 14.1 Warnings and Precautions This section contains important information pertaining to the operating instructions of your device.
