Web settings To set up your phone to access WAP information on the internet, use the following procedures. Web/MMS Profiles Your handset has been preset with a list of GPRS and CSD WAP proxy of different service provider. To display the list of available connections, you can use the following procedure. ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 5 and 1 to display the Web/MMS profiles list screen. ☛ Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to highlight the required connection name, then press to select. 2 You can also choose which type of connection you require: CSD or GPRS. Please contact your service provider before setting. 2 The connection with a ✔ next to its name will be the connection used when you make a WAP connection to your Home page on the internet. 2 If the list of Profiles is too long to fit into one page, you can display the remaining Profiles by switching between pages using the Side keys. Setting the Web/MMS Profiles To alter or enter information into a connection, use the following procedure. ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 5 and 1 to display the Web/MMS profiles list screen. ☛ Use the ▲ or ▼ key to highlight a connection name, press to display the Profile options screen. Adding a new Profile ☛ With the Profile options screen displayed, press 1. ☛ Key in the Proxy title, then press . ☛ Press the appropriate key for the required option. No. Profiles setting menu 1 Load preset Chooses proxy. 2 Proxy title Edits proxy's name. 3 Homepage Edits URL of proxy's homepage. 4 Security Turns Web/MMS security setting on or off. 5 IP address Edits IP address. If you do not have an IP address, please contact your network provider. 6 Bearer type Web: MMS: Enables to select the type of connection for Web: GPRS or CSD.
