Setting the CSD linger time The linger time will cause the connection to be broken if the connection has not been used for a preset amount of time. To set this time delay, use the following procedure. ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 5 and 2 to display the CSD linger time screen. ☛ Enter the time delay required and press Softkey 1. Web font You can select the font to be displayed on your phone's screen from Large and Small. ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 5 and 3 to display the Web font screen. ☛ Press the appropriate key for the required font. Clear cache If you start a WAP session using the last page visited, the information will be restored from a cache memory. If, however this page has been updated since your last visit, the updated page will not be displayed. To avoid this possibility clear the cache as follows: ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 5 and 4. Then press Softkey 1 to clear cache. Reset settings ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 5 and 5. Then press Softkey 1 to reset all WAP settings to their original states. Logging on to WAP site There are three types of WAP connection: • Connect to a specific URL • Connect to the Home page of the default connection • Connect to the last web page connected before Connect to a specific URL To connect to a URL specified by yourself, use the following procedure. ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 1 and 1. Key in the desired URL, then press twice. Connect to the Home page of the default connection ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 1 and 2 to access the Homepage set to the currently selected Profile. Connect to the last web page connected before ☛ With the standby screen displayed, press 3, 1 and 3 to display the last web page connected before. 2 When you access the Internet with your phone for the first time or after you have reset the memory, the Homepage set for Web/MMS profile will be the page to be accessed. 57
