It flashes if a timer recording is set but no tape is in the System. It flashes when all timer recordings or One-Touch Recordings are finished. RECORD Light This red light appears during VCR recording. It flashes when recording is paused. RECORD I Button (VCR) Press once to start a recording. Press repeatedly to start a One-Touch Recording. HEADPHONE Jack Connect headphones (not supplied) here.When headphones are connected, Surround Sound is not available.
