Of course, your System will play tapes recorded in monaural (singlesource) sound as well. Your System also will record a video cassette in Hi-Fi stereo or in second audio, so when you play that tape on the System, it will be in stereo or second audio. Read the directions on this page to familiarize yourself with the stereo and second audio setups. Follow the directions below to record in stereo or second audio. Follow the directions on page 48 to play tapes recorded in Hi-Fi stereo. Understanding Displays When you watch TV channels through the System, portions of the display shown below will appear when you press DISPLAY twice. STOP SLP 12:00 AM CH 02 STEREO SAP If SAP or STEREO appears, the program is available in second audio or stereo. Even though a program is available in second audio or stereo, you must program the System to receive or record the program. Follow the directions below. This display is not available during tape play.
