Features Scan Defaults Use this menu to set default scanning behaviors. For details, see Adjusting Scanning Settings on page 119. Item Scan to Network File Format Color Color Button Set Resolution Document Size Lighten/Darken Sharpness Auto Exposure Margin Top/Bottom Margin Left/Right Margin Middle TIFF File Format Image Compression Max Email Size Description Selects the scan destination: Computer (Network) or Server (FTP). Selects the file type of the scanned image. Specifies Black and White or Color output. Adjusts the Color Mode settings: B&W button: Black and White or Grayscale Color Button: Color or Color (Photo) Selects the scan resolution. Specifies the size of the original. Lightens or darkens the output. Specifies the sharpness of the scanned images. Turns Auto Exposure On or Off when copying. Auto Exposure suppresses the document background of off-white colored paper and show-through when copying 2-sided thin paper. Turns On or Off the copy margins for the top and bottom of the page. Turns On or Off the copy margins for the left and right of the page. Turns On or Off the copy margins for the middle of the page. Use to create a gutter in the middle of the page when you print using the N-up feature. Sets the TIFF file format: TIFF V6 or TTN2. Specifies the amount of image compression: Lower, Normal, or Higher. Sets limits on the size of attachments that can be emailed from 50-16384 KB. Fax Defaults Use this menu to set default faxing behaviors. For details, see Changing the Default Fax Job Settings on page 139. Note: Available on WorkCentre 6015N/NI Color Multifunction Printer only. Item Resolution Document Type Lighten/Darken Delayed Start Description Specifies the resolution of the fax. Specifies if the document is a text or photo document. Lightens or darkens the output.
