Chapter 9 Wireless Figure 104 Kicking a Connection Connections are kicked based on either idle timeout or signal strength. The UAG first looks to see which devices have been idle the longest, then starts kicking them in order of highest idle time. If no connections are idle, the next criteria the UAG analyzes is signal strength. Devices with the weakest signal strength are kicked first. 9.6 DCS Use DCS (Dynamic Channel Selection) in an environment where are many APs and there may be interference. DCS allows APs to automatically find a less-used channel in such an environment. Use this screen to configure dynamic radio channel selection on managed APs.
