Chapter 5 Quick Setup Wizards Assignment to Static and/or select PPTP or PPPoE, enter the Internet access information exactly as your ISP gave it to you. Table 12 WAN and ISP Connection Settings LABEL ISP Parameter Encapsulation Service Name Authentication Type DESCRIPTION This section appears if the interface uses a PPPoE or PPTP Internet connection. This displays the type of Internet connection you are configuring. Enter the PPPoE service name specified in the ISP account. This field is not available if the ISP account uses PPTP. Use the drop-down list box to select an authentication protocol for outgoing calls. Options are: CHAP/PAP - Your UAG accepts either CHAP or PAP when requested by this remote node. CHAP - Your UAG accepts CHAP only. PAP - Your UAG accepts PAP only. MSCHAP - Your UAG accepts MSCHAP only. User Name MSCHAP-V2 - Your UAG accepts MSCHAP-V2 only. Type the user name given to you by your ISP. You can use alphanumeric and -_@$./ characters, and it can be up to 31 characters long. UAG Series User's Guide 67
