Chapter 38 Application The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 200 Configuration > Object > Application > Application > Add Application Rule LABEL DESCRIPTION Name Type a name to identify this application rule. You may use 1-31 alphanumeric characters, underscores(_), or dashes (-), but the first character cannot be a number. This value is case-sensitive. Description You may type some extra information on the application object here. Add Click this to create a new application rule. Remove Click this to remove the selected application rule. # This field is a sequential value associated with this application rule.. Category This field shows the category to which the signature belongs in this application rule. Application This displays the name of the application signature used in this application rule. OK Click OK to save your changes back to the UAG. Cancel Click Cancel to exit this screen without saving your changes. 38.2.1.1 Add Application Object by Category or Service Click Add in Configuration > Object > Application > Application > Add Application Rule.
