USING FIREWORKS CS4 96 Working with text 2 Select an orientation option: Horizontal Left to Right The default setting. Vertical Right to Left Orients text vertically, flowing from top to bottom. Multiple lines of text separated by returns are displayed as columns that flow from right to left. To reverse text for a special effect, use the Distort tool and drag a side handle. Set text alignment Alignment determines the position of a paragraph of text relative to the edges of its text block. By default, horizontal text is left-aligned. Vertical text can be aligned to the top or bottom of a text block, centered within the text block, or fully justified between both the top and bottom edges. 1 Select the text. 2 Click an alignment button in the Property inspector. Anti-aliasing makes the edges of the text blend into the background so that the text is cleaner and more readable when it is large. Anti-aliasing applies to all characters in a given text block.
