Then assign this URL to each navigation button by selecting it in the URL library. Use the Find and Replace feature to change a URL across multiple documents (see "Finding and replacing" on page 267). Note:

9-slice scaling nested symbols
You can create symbols within a symbol. Such symbols, called nested symbols, can be scaled individually.
Ensure the following before you try to 9-slice scale a symbol.
Select Enable 9-slice scaling guides when creating the symbol.
Ensure that you are in the Edit mode of the symbol that you want to scale. Double click the “+” icon on the inner
symbol to move to its edit mode.
When transforming nested symbols based on the 9-Slice scale setting, you can scale nested symbols individually.

Move to the view where you created the symbol.

Select the Symbol in the Document Library panel, and click Symbol Properties.

URLs
Assigning a URL to a web object creates a link to a file such as a web page. You can assign URLs to slices, hotspots, and
buttons. To store, edit, and organize URLs for reuse, create a URL library in the URL panel.
For example, if your website contains several navigation buttons to return to your home page, add the URL for your
home page to the URL panel. Then assign this URL to each navigation button by selecting it in the URL library. Use
the Find and Replace feature to change a URL across multiple documents (see “
Finding and replacing
” on page
267).
URL libraries are available for all Fireworks documents and are saved between sessions.
