Duplex Printing You can perform duplex printing with the printer, using one of the following steps. ■ For plain paper or thick paper, whether fed from a paper tray or the multi-purpose tray, duplex printing is carried out automatically if you set this in the printer driver upon executing the print command. ■ For thicker paper or glossy paper, you can print on the back surface of the paper from the multi-purpose tray as long as the front surface of the paper was printed using this printer. For details about the types of paper suitable for duplex printing, see Suitable Paper Types on page 3-1. If you use duplex printing frequently in Windows®, we recommend that you register the necessary settings in the User Settings tab. Registering the settings saves you time, because you will not need to configure the driver each time you print. For details about the User Settings tab, see Help. Duplex Printing
You can perform duplex printing with the printer, using one of the following steps.
For plain paper or thick paper, whether fed from a paper tray or the multi-purpose tray, duplex
printing is carried out automatically if you set this in the printer driver upon executing the print
command.
For thicker paper or glossy paper, you can print on the back surface of the paper from the
