Set Motion Detection Recording 7, Set Motion Detection Recording Settings The Motion Detection recording starts when a motion has been detected. Configure the Motion Detection recording settings in the Motion Detection Settings window which appears when you click Settings. Some items in the Motion Detection Settings window overlap with the items in the Add/Edit Schedule Item dialog. In Motion Detection recording, the settings in the Motion Detection Settings window take precedence. Preset and Exposure Compensation settings in the Add/Edit Schedule dialog are applied to the Motion Detection recording. The Motion Detection function is not suitable for conditions where high reliability is required. It is not recommend using Note this function in situations where high reliability is required, such as for monitoring purposes. The area for detection can also be modified which is ideal, for example, if the field of view has two entrances and you wish to monitor motion for one entrance. 124
