LCD Cannot Be Seen At All or Is Hard to See Cause The display on the LCD is hard to see. Cannot see the display on the LCD. Action If the contrast of the LCD is too strong or too weak, adjust it in the Adjust contrast menu in the Maintenance/settings. Refer to "Changing the Machine Settings" in the User's Guide on-screen manual. z If the POWER lamps is off The machine is not powered on. Connect the power cord and press the ON/ OFF button. The machine will power on and the LCD will display a message. z If the POWER lamps is lit The LCD may be in the screen-saver mode. On the Operation Panel, press a button other than the ON/OFF button. An Unintended Language Is Displayed on the LCD Cause Action The language you want to be displayed is not selected. Select the language you want to be displayed according to the following procedure. (1)Press the COPY button, wait for 5 seconds, and then press the MENU button. (2)Press the ] button once, then press the OK button. (3)Press the ] button once, then press the OK button. (4)Press the } button three times, then press the OK button. If the Bluetooth Unit is connected, press the } button four times, then press the OK button. LCD Cannot Be Seen At All or Is Hard to See
An Unintended Language Is Displayed on the LCD
Cause
Action
The display on the LCD is hard to see.
If the contrast of the LCD is too strong or too weak, adjust it in the
Adjust
contrast
menu in the
Maintenance/settings
. Refer to “Changing the Machine
Settings” in the
User’s Guide
on-screen manual.
Cannot see the display on the LCD.
If the
POWER
lamps is off
The machine is not powered on. Connect the power cord and press the
ON/
OFF
button. The machine will power on and the LCD will display a message.
If the
POWER
lamps is lit
The LCD may be in the screen-saver mode. On the Operation Panel, press a
button other than the
ON/OFF
button.
