Part 3: Repair Information 3.6 PEDESTAL PURPOSE: Adjusting the Pedestal Standard Level (Black Level). STANDARD: Pedestal Level: 30rnV (+10n-1V, -20mV) a Toms: • Data Transfer Unit Fig. 3-21 Pedestal Level (Black Level) • Oscilloscope • Dark Bag PREPARATION: 1) Cover the lens or place the camera in the dark bag. 2) Set the camera in Test mode. CMD $28 ADR $E01A DATA $41 RET CMD $20 ADR $EOFF DATA $50 RET *When "#50" is input, writing error results and "#60" is indicated, however, the camera manipulates the data as "#50". ADJUSTMENT: 1) Input the following data to the camera. CMD $60 ADR $3 DATA $67 RET 2) Adjust the pedestal level to 30mV (+10mV, -20mV) with the up and down cursor keys. At this time, the leading edge (a) and the falling edge(b) of the wave form should meet the standard. 3) Input the data determined at 2) to EEPROM.
