Troubleshooting 39 It seems as though turning OFF the machine is different from the previous imageRUNNER. I am afraid that this may be a wrong operation. For the previous imageRUNNER, you needed to press and hold the control panel power switch for more than three seconds before the machine entered the Shutdown mode. However, for the imageRUNNER ADVANCE, you just need to open the main power switch cover located on the right side of the machine, and push the main power switch toward the " " side. Additional Information For more information, see Before Using This Machine. Q&A 40 The touch panel display is completely black. The main power has not been turned ON, or the machine may have entered the Auto Sleep mode to save energy. Follow the procedure below. ˙ Turning the main power ON 1. Check whether the power plug is firmly inserted into the outlet. 2. Open the main power switch cover located on the right side of the machine and switch the main power switch to the "I" side to turn the power ON. ˙ Recovering from the Auto Sleep mode Press the (Energy Saver). Additional Information • For more information on the Auto Sleep mode and Energy Saver mode, see e-Manual > Basic Operations. • Follow the procedure below to change the Auto Sleep Time. 1.
