Also, do not turn on the server before turning on the disk enclosure. If these ordering rules are not followed, the Smart Array Controller may mark the drives in this enclosure as "failed," which could result in permanent data loss. Press the release button for the SCSI hard drive ejector lever

Pull the locking release lever
forward.
3.
Pull the hard drive from the drive cage
