Sending a Test Message The DR4000 system provides a capability that lets you send test messages to all of the recipient email addresses. This allows you to ensure that the process for sending system alerts works, and that it reaches all of the email recipients you have configured. To send a test message: NOTE: Ensure that you have or need a configured mail relay host. For more information about relay hosts, see "Adding a Relay Host" on page 45. 1 Select System Configuration Email Alerts. The Email Alerts page is displayed. 2 Click Send Test Message on the options bar. The Send Email Alerts confirmation dialog is displayed. 3 Click OK (or click Cancel to display the Email Alerts page). The Email Alerts page is displayed, and a Successfully sent email dialog is displayed when successful. 4 Verify that all of the intended recipient email addresses received the test email. Configuring Administrator Contact Information You should configure administrator contact information that identifies the person who manages your DR4000 system. To do this, enter contact information for the administrator using the Add Admin option (or edit existing contact information by using the Edit Admin option) on the Email Alerts page options bar.
