7 Using the DR4000 System Support Options This chapter describes how you can use the Support page and its Diagnostics and Software Upgrade options to maintain your DR4000 system. To access these options, use the DR4000 system navigation panel or go directly to the Diagnostics or Software Upgrade hyperlinks on the Support page. About the Support Information When the Support page is displayed, the Support Information pane identifies your system by providing the following information: • Software Version (DR4000 system software version installed) • Service Tag (DR4000 system appliance bar code label) • Last Diagnostic Run (timestamp for latest system diagnostic log file) • BIOS Version • MAC Address • Ethernet ports (displays information about bonded ports only; if 10- GbE NICs are installed, it will only display information about two ports) - Eth0 MAC address and port speed in megabytes/second (MB/s) - Eth1 MAC address and port speed in MB/s - Eth2 MAC address and port speed in MB/s - Eth3 MAC address and port speed in MB/s • Dell Support hyperlink (support.dell.com) NOTE: The Support Information pane contains important system information that may be needed if you need to contact Dell Support for any technical assistance. NOTE: For additional System Information, click Dashboard in the navigation panel to display its System Information pane, which lists System Name, Software Version, Current Date/Time, Cleaner Status, Total Savings (in percentage), Number of Files in Containers, Number of Containers, Number of Replicated Containers, and Capacity Before Optimization. About the Support Information
When the
Support
